Hello,

My name is Jan Hyland. Kenzie’s and my passion for design began in a similar manner, for my Grandmother also was my inspiration. As a child, I remembered her spending hours at the sewing machine, which ignited my interest. With Grandma’s guidance, I began to design clothing for my dolls and myself. By age sixteen, I had my own sewing machine and my creative spirit was sparked.

After graduation I worked for the next fifteen years in the corporate world. In 1992 I made the decision to reunite with my sewing machine. I began decorating homes as well as designing and constructing window treatments.

Since 2006 my focus has primarily been on home décor and planning themed events. I feel that it’s the minute details that create an intimate home setting or the perfect event for a client.

Kenzie and I are both very excited. We will be collaborating to achieve your vision, and look forward to working with you and your design needs.
